JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
As a core part of our Customer Projects and Support (CPS) Team in Düsseldorf you will ensure our customers receive exactly the service they need to meet their expectations. Your role therefore involves both technical expertise and people skills. You will apply your considerable SE experience for building, maintaining, and revising servers and security applications and preparing hardware. Your people skills will enable your success in planning and launching projects, providing advice, and sometimes literally saving our customers’ day with your e􀆯icient and on-the-mark troubleshooting. Moreover, you will support our sales team with your technical expertise, create e􀆯ective documentation, and implement successful, upto-date, and sustainable solutions.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

COMPETENCY (“Must”) *Must meet all of the following requirements

With at least 5 years of experience as a Systems Engineer under your belt, you are an allrounder when it comes to server architectures (Cloud Virtualization Environment, Windows/Linux, VMware/Hyper-V/Xen), networks (FW, routers, etc.), and security applications(SD-WAN, Zero Trust solutions, etc.).

You possess considerable expertise in hardware (Dell,Fujitsu, HP etc.), and in TCP/IP, cloud services, Windows, data security, certifications,network settings (CCNA) and backup technologies.

Moreover, you are an experienced project manager and good at explaining your work. You know that any good solution needs to be preserved to be sustainable and take care to provide diligent documentation for various purposes and stakeholders. To make things perfect, you have a business-fluent or (near-) native command of English. If you know (a bit of) Japanese or German, even better.

Parttime (20 hrs/ week or less on ideally 5, at least 3 days/ week)
12 months with option for extension to unlimited fulltime or parttime contract thereafter
Location: Düsseldorf
